Thinking About my Capstone!

Part 1: Support and Comment on Teammates' Goals - 

I think my teammates have set really good goals for themselves in terms of education and their careers. We are all in different stages of life, so it is cool to see how different our goals are. One of my team members if going back to school to gain the necessary education to thrive in their field and the other one wants to ultimately own their own business. Meanwhile I am barely starting out in this field. My goals focus more on entering into the industry rather than promoting inside the industry. Despite our differences I we are all working towards our bachelor's degree and I know that we can all do it. I wish them the best of luck in their endeavors.

Part 2: Possible Capstone Ideas - 

Taking care of plants - a website that lists the steps needed to take care of any growable plant

Parent education app - an app that parents can use to learn different things about caring for children. For example toddler tantrums, baby nutrition, baby led weaning, etc. 

Baby and Toddler supply ratings - Helps parents see the health and safety rating of supplies like soap, food, and bottles used for babies and/or toddlers. 

Part 3: Keep Up With Your Learning Journal - 

This week has been kind of an interesting week. I realized that I had done an assignment wrong so I went back reread all of the material for last week and redid the assignment. I want to make sure I am giving my absolute best in this class before continuing and that is one way I made sure of that. Other than fixing that assignment a lot of my learning has been on AI and its practices. I am still continuing this research so that I can write a good paper. I also learned the different uses for each type of team member. Sometimes it is good to avoid certain situations and other time it is necessary to force your opinion. My team and I got together over the weekend to discuss what we wanted for our video project. I am not a great public speaker so this assignment is definitely not going to be my favorite. Fortunately, I am not doing it alone and I have team members who can help me through it. The capstone project is making me a little nervous. I know it isn't for a couple of years, but knowing that I have to plan and do one of these is a little scary. Nonetheless, I know I can do it. A lot of the previous capstone projects were very creative. I'm not sure how mine will compare to others but I should try my best regardless. Using AI to write the second part of my stakeholder analysis has been fun. It is so weird to see how the wording of a prompt can give off two completely different answers. This week has been pretty chill, except for my mistake last week, but that has been taken care. I look forward to the last 3 weeks of this class.
