Week 8 - Final Week
Part 1: Review Other Teams' Final Video Projects
Team one - Tech Heads

Professional Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z8uvy34Bmxs
I believe the tech heads do an excellent job in explaining the topic of deep-fake. Their topic is well covered, and their presentation is clear. I can easily read the information, and I can see the slide. I think the professional video has better research than the general audience video but that is too be expected. The professional video is supposed to be more detailed. The video production is nice. Majority of the video is through PowerPoint which is pretty. It is decorated and has nice visuals. I do think the video is engaging and there is a lot of evidence that this was a team effort. Both videos were also appropriate for their respective audience. The general audience video definitely did a good job of explaining what deep fake is to someone who has never heard of it.
Team two - Otter This World
General Audience: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ZY62Fh_UB4
Professional Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6EXtT8xbndI
I liked Otter This Worlds videos very much. They explain the
topic in a really detailed way for the professional video and in a fun way for
the general audience video. I think they did a great job covering their
proposed topic. The presentation is extremely clear and there are little
animated shorts to help explain the topics. The research is good, and I feel I
know a lot more about nomophobia thanks to these videos. The video production
is excellent, which makes the video really engaging and interesting. My favorite
parts are the parts with little animations and storytelling. I think that made
the video more entertaining than the others. The teamwork is pretty clear in
both of the videos. I do believe that each video is appropriate for their
respective audience. Overall, I think this team did a great job and I would
watch their videos again.
Team 3 - Fantastic 4
General Audience: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mFnKT4luCDE
Professional Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vm3Dgmx_PVI
Out of all of the videos Fantastic 4 is my favorite. There is
so much animation in the way the team is talking about their topic, and their
visuals are really nice. I think the topics are well covered in both of the
videos and are made in an engaging way. The presentation is really clear. I
understood everything they were saying and the visuals to go with it. The
research is of good quality and shows that they know what they are talking
about. From their videos I feel I understand the topic of digital immortality a
lot. The video production is of amazing quality. The team sounds interested in
talking about their topic. Their voices are animated, and they have good visuals
to pair it with. If I have not made it clear the video is definitely engaging
and interesting. The teamwork is pretty evident in the videos, and I feel both videos
are appropriate for their respective audiences. Overall, this is my favorite,
and I think this team did a great job.
Part 2: Keep Up With Your Learning Journal
Professional Video: https://youtu.be/lVUSbpeFhPM
General Audience Video: https://youtu.be/Zl-xjx7Hoog
This class definitely helped to refresh my writing skills. I have not written a paper in over a year and I got a little rusty. This class helped me to learn what constitutes good writing and how I can improve in my own writing. I learned a lot about the industry and AI thanks to our research papers. There is a lot that I didn't know but I am glad that I have learned about it. This class overall really taught me how to be a better writer and write professional papers. There was a lot of team work and I feel it could be a little less. Having to work with a team almost every week is kind of hard considering we all have completely different schedules. Despite this I think my team and I communicated well. We worked together and got all of our assignments done. To make collaboration more effective next time I think we should try to meet more than once a week.
