Week 7 - Almost There
Part 1: The video project has been a very interesting experience. I have learned a lot more about what my team is good at and how we can better work together. We collaborated by discussing our strengths first. From there we delegated tasks based on those strength. Isaiah and I were in charge of research, Xavier in charge of speaking, and Savannah in charge of video editing. We mostly used discord to talk and communicate about the video and sent things related to the project back and forth, so everybody was on the same page. I think if possible it would be easier to meet up and plan out video projects, but given the nature of that course that would be very difficult, so I think linger video calls would suffice.
Part 2: This week has been all about wrapping up the final essay and the final video project. I had the bulk of my essay done earlier last week so this week I was just putting the final touches on it. This week I was really focused on the video project. I learned the requirements for the project and I did watch some other projects to get an idea of what my team could do for our video. In addition to the video I did watch a couple of the ted talks. I watched one on how artificial intelligence learns and another on melancholy. I knew to a certain extent how artificial intelligence worked thanks to my research paper, so it was fascinating to get another perspective on it. AI is really cool and it is kind of scary to learn that computer scientist cannot 100 percent say how AI learns since they are supposed to be self taught. Melancholy is weird because it can appear at random. There's no way to tell what causes it.
